Canada’s own Sanguine Glacialis presents a new music video for the song Kraken, taken from their 2018 album Hadopelagic. The base of Sanguine Glacialis is Melodic Death Metal but the band flirts with Jazz, Classical, Folk, and Latin among others which makes Sanguine Glacialis truly unique. I was pleasantly surprised about Nevicate and their latest single Dewdrops. Usually, when a band describes themselves as Pop Metal I have an allergic reaction cause most of that is crap but Nevicate is one of those pearls you rarely find. Check them out on Instagram and get the single HERE.
Felled creates Blackened Doomy Neofolk Metal with an old school sound and that makes The Intimate Earth album highly anticipated at my house. And we’re staying on the old school path with Delirium Mask from Chile and their song Luna Azul, taken from their album Entes. It’s being said that the term Deathrock was first used in 1979 by the media to describe a subgenre from Punk that used lyrical themes such as horror. And Delirium Mask proudly keeps the Deathrock flame going by sounding as if they were from that era. Check them out on Instagram en get their music HERE.
Slizard is a new band with Liz Fawcett on vocals. The S/T debut album is on its way, May 28 is the released date and Mega Metal Records shall release it. The teasers on YouTube are letting me hear a powerful and melodic Hardrock band and the band just released a cover version from the classic Scorpions song Still Loving You. Amazing cover and it shows that the album with Liz on vocals is something to look out for. Get in touch with Mega Metal Records HERE and give Slizard a like on Facebook.
Book of Wyrms from the US is about to release their third full-length, Occult New Age, on May 7 via Dessert Records and I’m thrilled about it as I like them since their 2017 debut Sci-Fi/Fantasy.
