Mixtape: 20 years of Sirenia

Sirenia

I was listening to the fantastic cover version of Desireless‘s Voyage Voyage from Sirenia which has been added as a bonus track to their latest album Riddles, Ruins & Revelations, and all of a sudden I started wondering how long Sirenia actually exists and it turns out, 20 years now.

Sirenia was founded in January 2001 by Morten Veland after he left Tristania. Original the name was Masters of Sirenia but later shortened to just Sirenia. Morten can be considered as one of the people that shaped Gothic Metal in its early days and is still going strong with Sirenia for 20 years now.

So that calls for a Mixtape of their 10 full-length albums, please do enjoy!
