Casket Robbery from the US is delivering some serious Death Metal but they are doing it with a smile as humour is a big part of Casket Robbery along with everything that’s creepy and scary. Nevertheless this is some serious good shit.

Brat was formed during the pandemic and recently released their first EP, Mean is What We Aim For, and i get goosebumps all over listening to it cause it feels like I’m listening to a resurrected Filthy Christians, the Thrash Metal/Grindcore band from the 80’s.

Paralandra is fronted by Casandra Carson who is also doing the vocals for The L.I.F.E. Project and she is such a powerhouse vocalist. If you wanna have only one Rockband in you’re playlist then Paralandra is the one you should get. And more good news is that a new album will be coming this fall.

Cool, Ravenlight from Ireland did a cover of a song from The Weeknd namely Blinding Lights and it turns out to be a song from an upcoming EP with two more covers, a Stratovarius and a Ghost cover. Bookmark August 27 in your calendar as the EP Intermission will be released then, I for sure will have a listen then.

Trapezia presents with Ecila their debut EP with three songs on it. Trapezia is the brainchild of Thais Lyrica who created the steampunk-ish concept behind Trapezia which is inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Good debut from this Brazilian lady.

Sicksense is what happens if you throw Limp Bizkit and Sepultura in a blender. Make Believe is the debut single from Sicksense which features Vicky Psarakis on vocals along with Robby J. Fonts and the both of them are doing a damn fine job on the rapping, cleans and ultra sick growls. Exciting new band and already curious for more tunes.

Dying Wish is another band to get excited about, the metallic Hardcore band from the US have a few singles out and a split album with Serration but is now getting ready for the release of their debut album Fragments of a Bitter Memory via Sharptone Records on October 1. Untill Mourning Comes is the second single from the upcoming debut album and based on the two songs it’s safe to say that the album is going to be a killer.

Tragul is somewhat kind of pioneer on releasing music on the song by song format. Tragul is the brainchild of producer Adrian Benegas and together with Zuberoa Aznarez from Diabulus in Musica on vocals and Diego Bogarin on guitar and bass they have now the thirteenth song released since 2017. Already became a fan in 2017 and i will probably stay that for a while as the new song Mother is not disappointing me.

This surprised me, Blackwater Holylight has a pleasantly easy listening vibe with this song but when I looked them up I noticed two previous album that are more Stoner Rock-ish than what we can hear here. So I’m really curious about the upcoming album Silence/Motion that will be released via RidingEasy Records on October 22.
