After the 2022 EP, Winter Maiden, Swansong from Finland is coming in the fall of 2023 with their debut full-length that shall be released via Noble Demon Records. With Awakening the band presents its first single and it’s a beast. Really love how Swansong improved their sounds as it’s more powerful than on their EP, and it gives more room for the grunts, screams and whispers from vocalist Jemiina. I’m really looking forward to the release of their debut full-length.
False Memories from Italy are ready for their third full-length that will see the light of day on June 9, 2023, via Frontiers Music srl. With Rossella Moscatello on vocals, the band has someone on vocal duty that really elevates the songs while not being disrespectful to the other musicians, as they are the ones creating the wonderfully melodies and interesting hooks. And surprisingly, Rossella throws in some screams in Rising Tide.
Still going strong, the witches from Burning Witches and with Unleash the Beast they present the second single from upcoming album The Dark Tower. Relentless and neck breaking as always, it’s Heavy Metal to the bone and with the witchy clean vocals from Laura. The Dark Tower will be out on May 5, 2023, via Napalm Records and will contain two cover songs this time, so waste no time and pre-order.
Been listening to the new Neperia EP for a few days now and the Symphonic Metal that these Greeks produce really have grown on me, I find myself everyday looking for this EP to give it a listen, especially the title track Scaling the Summit which is a new song and the other three tracks are remake songs from their 2017 album Drawing New Worlds.
Already knew that Ignea would end up on a big label back in 2018 as I did an interview with their vocalist Helle Bogdanova back then which you can find HERE. Helle still sings and growls, and the oriental vibe is still present in Ignea‘s music, and it’s still great music. Their new full-length Dreams of Lands Unseen will be released via Napalm Records on April 28th. Being from Ukraine, they get a big digital hug from me.
Matriarchs cant promote the song on YouTube because it’s labeled as offensive content by YouTube. Well, fuck that, so here’s the latest song from the Metallic Hardcore giants Matriarchs. And it seems that there is a new album on its way, The Divinity Of All Things (Anthems Of The Neurodivergent) shall be released somewhere in 2023. Looking forward to that one.
