On May 12 something magical is going to happen, the debut album from They Watch Us From The Moon shall be released then. Cosmic Chronicles, Act I: The Ascension is what it is called and based on this song it’s something to look forward to because of the cosmic Doom Metal with melodic dual vocals from Chelsy Larson and Lauren Mayhew.
Abandon All has dropped their debut full-length, Far Away, just a couple of days ago and it’s a true gem. Abandon All puts a lot of melancholy into their Melodic Metal and Monia has some powerhouse vocals, but also she can be very fragile with her singing.
Mexico is where Sever the Light comes from and the Gothic Metal band recently released their debut EP Dies Irae. It’s been a while since I saw a band that labeled themselves as Gothic Metal, so that’s cool, that label needs to be kept alive.
The translation for the French Industrial Metal band Les Projets d’Athéna is Athena’s Projects. On vocals Audrey who you might know from Emma-O, Noein and Fake Messiah, and she is now busy with her new project/band Les Projets d’Athéna which produces really cool electronic fueled Metal. Their debut EP Celeste was released in November 2022, but recently they dropped a video for the song Chicxulub, taken from the EP.
Modern Metallers Morana’s Curse throws in almost every music style you can think of into their music, which gives it a high diversity. Their self-titled debut EP has just a few days ago been released. Infinite starts sweet, but suddenly Morana’s Curse becomes angry as fuck.
Metallic Punkers Hierra from Chile dropped their debut EP Que Comience La Hierra in January this year and recently released an official video for one of the songs from the EP. Traicionaste has a nice headbang rhythm, so I will keep Hierra for a while on repeat.
