Decay to Remain from Germany dropped recently their debut EP, Echoes from Within, and it’s really a very nice debut. The band is double fronted and the clean vocals are by Giulia Claußen whom’s voice fits the Melodic Metalcore perfectly next to the harsh vocals from Justus. Definitely a band to watch out for in the future.
Hardcore outfit Hold me Tight presents their first self-titled single and it’s a beast. The band hails from Italy and the screamy vocals from Franz are beyond this world, yet a bit of melody is also included. If I’m not mistaken somewhere this summer we can expect a EP from Hold me Tight, I’m already curious for it.
Koorddanser is the second single from the fantastic album Dwaallicht that’s been released on April 14, 2023. Been tracking Witte Wieven since 2016 when their first single came out, and I’m still amazed how they manage to sound so grim and cold and yet on the other side heartwarming and comfortable. Babylon Doom Cult Records released the vinyl version of the album, make sure to get one.
Wasting Hours are from Mexico and Nothing is for what it seems, their third single. Excellent Modern Metal with a Punk vibe. The band doesn’t share much information about themselves or possible releases, but I noticed a message on their Facebook page where they talk about an EP, but that was in summer of 2022. So, w’ll just have to wait and see.
My Favourite Nemesis are new to me and that’s a bite strange as the band already exists since at least 2016 when their first single appeared. But I’ve got them on my radar now, and their recently released album Eidolon is amazing. Double fronted Modern Metal done the right way.
If you combine Post Sludge with Post Black Metal, you get Allochiria, the stunning band from Greece. Just a few days ago, the band released their third full-length called Commotion, and it’s everything you expect from a Post Sludge Black band.
